Just three months before his death, Marjan's lifetime of journalism was recognized when the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy in Ukraine published this 550-page book dedicated to his writing for many publications, selecting from among his 500 published articles and 2,000 letters from 1953-1966.

Marjan Horhota worked as a librarian at the University of Guelph Library until retiring in 1988. He was a prolific writer and tireless advocate of Ukrainian arts and political independence through a lifetime contribution to the Ukrainian community as a leading editor and journalist.
